Youth not Oil

'Youth not oil is Nigeria’s most valuable resource' , but sadly enough down South some politicians will arm youths for selfish purposes, up North religious bigots will also arm youths to propagate their own doctrine of terror. What we have is countless number of young Nigerians dieing at the end of the day, while these old and never changing evil men still enjoy more than the perks of political or religious power. I used to be quite confident that the average educated Nigerian youth both north and south know better not to fall into the hands of Politician, or Religious bigot. But lately on most online forum or offline discuss where one will want to believe you can find very enlighten and objective views from youthful Nigerians, the reverse is mostly the case on most topics or tread you read or listen to concerning events or happenings in Nigeria. Nigeria Someday, Somehow

It’s really not 100% Peace, Love and Unity but thank God for 50yrs, hopefully someday, somehow Nigeria will get it right.

Normalised Political Fear.

Just like a flash 2011 fast approaching and its election year in Nigeria. Using this quote by one of my favourite author ( Chimamanda Adichie ) one can easily say a “Normalised Political Fear Invades Our Life’s” as Nigerians again. The air of uncertainty and fear keeps building by the day, the Nigeria daily newspapers are littered with headlines and captions that makes one wonder, What really will 2011 elections bring with it, or what will it take away. Will it bring the desired changes that Nigerians so much yearn for since it started it’s ever so called nascent democracy ? or will it take more life’s via assassinations / violence, increased kidnapping and possibly magnify corruption to greater heights. With captions in the print media like; NORTH WARNS JONATHAN AGAINST USE OF EFCC. I’M READY TO DIE FOR JONATHAN, SAYS ASARI DOKUBO. 2011 : MILITANTS HOLD SECRET MEETINGS WITH IBB, BUHARI. KILLER SQUAD TRAINING FOR 2011 —TOP POLICE SOURCE. EFCC TARGETS PRO-ZONING GOVERNORS. DON’T DARE O

7 th and counting

In the Last six months I didn't make a single post on this blog, wow!.Even me am surprised I can go that long with out blogging .However I did write a couple of stuff on my notepad, covering a range of topics/personal experiences over this period e.g the New Nigerian Local Content Bill,The new PH city,The challenges of life and how it really helps grow the Christian's faith, and also my missing luggage on Lufthansa Flight 4722 ( Frankfort to London). As soon as I can make out the time and that's pretty soon, I sure will get them off my notepad and post right here. A big thanks to one of my online idols, one of the bloggers I follow the most http://www.nigeriancuriosi ty.com/ by solomonsydelle for the comment you left.

No longer B.A.U

It’s become a tradition for me since I pick up interest in blogging, to always on the last day of each year in the last 3years now, write a short note that covers both my reflections for the out going year and my outlook for the incoming year. On this occassion due to lack of internet access on the 31st dec 2009 , I had to post this on the 2nd of Jan 2010, even though I wrote this in the early hours of the 31st . For 2009, putting it simply, I can say I have had so many wonderful blessing that I am really grateful to my creator for. Taking a break from full time employment in 2008 and going back to school was not an easy task, although the challenges turned out to be interesting far more than I thought. Indeed this was one seeming mountain, I give God praise that in 2009 he brought me over it and saw me through. In my moments of fear, pain, and tears only one thing kept me going my faith, hope and trust in God. 2009 indeed help me to see certain things come to pass successfully in my l
